To start off I don't know where I would be without soccer ,it helped me find a place where I had a sense of brotherhood. At first I didn't want to play, but my best friend asked and asked me to play, so I went and signed up. When the first practice came I couldn't wait. At the time I was in seventh grade, and before school was out I had everything on. From that practice on I found a love for the sport.
While I'm in highschool I hope to finish with no lower than a 3.8gpa. I also want to pass my ACT with a 28. The obstacle that has been hardest to overcome would have to be my scoliosis. I was diagnosed at nine years old and my pediatrician was wanting to do back surgery on me, but my mom wanted a second opinion. That is when my mom took me to a chiropractor. The chiropractor told me how severe it was and said that with time he could help me with no back surgery. So I went to him three times a week for over a year and it helped me incredibly. I now go to the chiropractor no more than three times per year, and those are only check ups. I belive this experience taught me to persever though the tough times and to never give up. Which makes perseverance my greatest characteristic, because I know the moments you want to quit are the moments you need to push through.
