My name is Karsen Macias; I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. I've been influenced to play soccer by my dad starting me at the age of three years old. My dad has inspired me in many ways: by being a foreigner moving into the United States of America, accomplishing his dream by hard work and dedication. He has help develop me into the person I am today on and off the field. My parents both encourage me to attain excellent grades in school and to accomplish my high standards on the field. My goal is to attain excellent grades in high school to keep a 3.5 to 4.0 GPA and to develop into the medical branch in college. I would like to become an ICU nurse ,since my mom is an CVPCU clinical supervisor nurse. I love the idea of saving a persons life and helping others when in critical need. I will be a good candidate to the team by bringing my none stop intensity and heart to play by uplifting the team in and out of practice. Creating relationships like family, knowing we will have each others backs in any obstacle that comes our way. What makes me different from other recruits is I posses a strong mentality for the game that allows me to make quick but smart decisions in the game. My parents have taught me to always be humble and have an open mind to learning. Love the challenges that someone sets or throws at me when whether it being a goal to gain more muscle and/or skill development to show that I deserve to be on the starting roster. I know that it is important to always be willing to learn and try new things to advance my skill and mentality over the game.
