My goal is to continue to play soccer at the highest level and advance my studies. I started playing soccer around the age of 4 and have loved it ever since. Playing goalkeeper at the highest level in the nation has given me so much, but most importantly it taught me how to work hard, lead others, and persevere. In order to be where I am at today, I work hard both with the team and outside of the team. Due to my position I am able to see everything that happens on the field. Because of this, it is my job to help direct the team and lead the defense. Goalkeeping is also the cause behind my perseverance. Whenever the team is not playing well or is behind in a game, I must stand firm and keep on going and play my absolute best so the team has a chance to get back into the game. I am able to apply these lessons to my everyday life. I now confidently address my peers in school, and I keep going even through personal tough times. Goalkeeping has done so much for me, and I wouldn’t change my position for anything in the world.
