I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Over the years, I have grown up with many friends playing soccer and hanging out after tournaments and league games. The camaraderie and the spirit of belonging to a team, the courage it takes to come back after a tough loss and even sometimes just fooling around with friends has moulded my character and shaped me as a person who I am today. Ironically, soccer has helped me tremendously with my academic skills. It is so true, the mental toughness and work-ethic that one needs for soccer, has enabled me to excel in academics. As a result, I have done very well in my AP courses in world history and computer science and several Honors classes that I took in sophomore year and I am currently taking 6 AP classes in my junior year and I am doing very well so far. I have been in Talented and gifted (TAG) program since fifth grade.
I would like to pursue this amazing sport of soccer as long as I can, play at a level wherein I can represent my college and enjoy the camaraderie while at the same time shaping my future by excelling in academics. I envision myself in a program that will demand from me leadership, work-ethic, and academic excellence , while I enjoy a healthy, supportive and fun loving atmosphere.

- 10 years
- Zayan has been training with the Dallas Texans Soccer Club for 7 years. He was trained by Coach Neil Connell for 6 years. Last year the team transitioned to Coach Clint Craft. He has been training with the club 2 times/week, in addition to scrimmages as needed. He also trains with a private coach outside of the club once per week.

- Activities-I have been learning and playing Guitar since I was in 3rd grade and I like to attend Recitals and play with my teacher at various social events. -I am a Member of US Squash and I have played several junior / bronze tournaments and have won several. I play for recreational reasons. -I take weekly classes learning Arabic . -3 years worked as a Junior Instructor at Kumon math and reading center. -I volunteer at animal shelter and restore Habitat for Humanity as needed. - National Honors society since 4/2022.
