My goals for the future is to graduate high school. I want to be one of the top students in my class and I want to be one of the best athletes. I have been playing since I was 3 years old and each year I always wanted to improve my game. To also work hard on the field and off the field. One of my aspirations is to play soccer at the highest competitive level possible.
Academically, I earn A's and B's but sometimes I get C's. I improve my grades each semester by going to each teacher and communicating with them on how I can get better as a student as well as a mature teenager. I work hard every day in school and just as hard as an athlete.
Most of my soccer career, I have played as a defender. I continues to work hard to improve my ability in becoming a more diverse player on the field. I began to apply that growth into becoming a defensive midfielder and on occasion, an attacking midfielder for my current D1 Club Team Dallas Kick Soccer Club.
My high school playing time, I am a more flexible player as I play wherever the coach needs me to go. This began my freshman year through my upcoming junior year. My high school coaches have also been a great asset, as they have always pushed me to the limits and always pushes me to work hard and to have a positive attitude for the game that I love deeply.
I earned many awards for soccer at my schools growing up. My 8th grade year I have earned the "Most Versatile Player" and "Most Offensive Player of the Year". My freshman grade year, I helped my team have earned its first District Champion.
On both my club team and my school teams, my coaches have noted that I play a huge part as the main communicator on my teams in helping my teammates see the game as a whole vs what is directly in front of them. They have even stated that I have the same point of view as a coach while on the field.
My experiences throughout these years, never seems to change my focus of wanting to continue my passion in improving my skills and overall game performance. All this work to one day have the amazing opportunity of being a part of a highly competitive college team.
One of my favorite spots quote that I do my best to live by is ''You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and work hard for it.'' - Lionel Messi
