Jesus Rodriguez '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jesus Rodriguez and I'm a senior at Eastwood High School in El Paso, Tx. I played 4 years in varsity in which my last 2 I was a starter. I,m looking for a college with a great academic and athletic program.

I play forward, left wing, and right wing  and I can easily adapt to any type of game plan. I'm very good at winning balls in the air and holding it for the team to come up, I'm also able to make runs behind defenders and take shots from in and out the box and in small spaces. I went to very competitive tournaments with my club such as Bobby Rhine in Dallas 2016, San Diego Surf Cup in 2017, also had the opportunity to participate in Dallas Cup a very high level of competition which was an amazing experience. 

Personally I'm a very competitive person who always looks for new challenges while at the same time enjoy the game that I'm very passionate about. I have been playing since a little kid, I was the team captain senior season because of my good communication with my teammates in and out of the pitch also for being coachable and a leader. I was second goal scorer with 25 goals which got me in the 1st team and get 3rd best player in All District 2-5A, in one of the toughest 5A District in Texas which has 5 teams rated in the state top 11. I'm very dedicated to the sport I love and committed to improve my level and learn, as well as achieving team goals and form a good bond with teammates and coaches. I work hard every practice and I'm serious about becoming the best player I can be, and to become a starter and top scorer at any level. 

I use my time wisely academically and athletically, I'm looking for college that challenges me and where I can be an active participant and contributor, where I can share alongside other student athletes my passion, while at the same time receiving the best education possible.
