My name is Avery Estell and I live in Flower Mound, Texas. I will be graduating in 2023. I play for the Dallas Texans 04 ECNL team. I start at left outside/wing back. I made the First Team - ECNL Texans Conference Team for the 2020-2021 season. I was the only sophomore on Marcus’s 6A varsity high school team. I start at the left back position and play the majority of the game. I am currently in the middle of the 2022-2023 campaign for club and high school.
Since I was 2, I have had a ball at my feet, kicking and dribbling the ball around the house. I joined the Dallas Texans at the age of 5 and have stayed with the club ever since. For all three years of my Dallas Texans ECNL career I have fought and earned my starting spot on the team.
Growing up, I was encouraged to play at a young age. My dad grew up playing and still does to this day. He is one of my greatest mentors, no matter if it is about life or on the field. After every game, he and I talk about the strengths and weaknesses of my play. Soccer is a big part of my life. Having fun to me includes going and kicking the ball around. Occasionally I get a group of friends to go play small-sided games. I am always the last one to leave, never being satisfied, and always looking for something to improve. My strengths on the field are my vision, soccer IQ, speed, strength, endurance, and a no quit attitude. I am really looking forward to getting a college education and being able to make an impact as a soccer player for my college.
