Christopher Flores '20 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer at an early age and realized my dream was to play professional soccer. As a sophomore in high school, I have had the opportunity to play at the high school level, compete against quality teams in southern Texas, and participate in a national tournament. My next goal is to experience soccer at the collegiate level. Throughout the years my passion for the game has increased. Whenever I step on the field, not only do I enjoy playing, I try to learn something new. I believe every game and practice is a learning opportunity. I love to analyze the decisions my team and I make in order to fix the mistakes or capitalize on our strengths.

        My work rate is what I think defines me. My work ethic sets me apart from the rest and it is the first thing coaches see in me. Some say anything is possible, but many people have a misconception about that saying. I believe that nothing happens just by dreaming about it and that all things that matter in life require hard work. This is the reason why I step on the pitch every day and work harder than everyone else.
