My name is Keegan Coker, and I have played soccer since I was 5 years old. I began playing at forward until the age of 8, when I moved to defense for the remainder of my soccer career. I play right back, center, and left for select teams, and I play right back, left back, and CDM for high school (Fossil Ridge High School - Keller, TX - 6A).
When I am not playing soccer, I'm watching it and studying my favorite players - Lionel Messi, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil Van Dijk.
Lionel Messi creates opportunities for his team to score by opening up the midfield, which is why I've adopted the same mentality and strategy.
Trent Alexander-Arnold knows how to adapt to each competitor's style of play, keeping him fluid regardless of his opponent's approach. Trent's way of doing things has really helped me learn to think fast and be the one to make the first move, which can catch the other team off guard and cause errors.
Virgil Van Dijk's aggressiveness dominates the offense and forces errors. I've worked consistently to evaluate my opponents and find their weaknesses by using the techniques I've learned watching Virgil.
Liverpool is my favorite team because it was the first official select club I played for, and I have continued to support them ever since.
The characteristics that make me a great soccer player and teammate would be that I never give up, I stay positive on the field, try to be a leader as much as possible, and I never allow an opponents' size or record to intimidate me or my game.
My goal is to play professional futbol and extend my career as long as humanly possibly.
I love soccer and would love to discuss playing for your team!
