Donovan Pennington '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Donovan Pennington.  I am an athlete.  I have played soccer, football, basketball, tennis and baseball.  I began playing soccer when I was 4 years old in the local city league.  I have played non-stop, since that time, on travel teams, club teams, indoor teams and on the high school team.  I play year round.  Besides playing soccer, I love playing other sports.  I was limited my freshman year to only playing football and soccer, because of the schedules.  I swim and I am scuba certified.  I am a Boy Scout moving rapidly to obtaining my Eagle Scout.  My school academics are excellent and I take many honors/advanced classes.  I plan on studying Biology/Science in College.  

I am no different from thousands of other athletes in many ways, with the exception of grit and determination.  I am invested physically and emotionally to achieving my goal of University level soccer play.  I have the full support of my family in achieving this goal.  It is my priority and I will achieve it!
