My Name is Walker Oglesby. I live with my mom and my dog Bella. My parents divorced when I was 7 years old. I have experienced hardships that were out of my control, but have maintained a strong GPA and participated as a member in The National Honor Society.
Athletics has always been important to me. I have competed in football, basketball and track. I was recognized as All State Academic Team, 1st Team All District, and Interception leader.
My Junior year I won the district and area meet in the 400 and qualified for the regional meet. I have competed in several field events including the long jump, triple jump and pole vault.
I’m currently running the 400m, 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay.
During my senior year I trained with Coach Trey at the APEC Gym in Tyler, Tx. Because of my skill, focus, determination and the instruction from coaches my times have dropped and I continue to improve.
I look forward to my college experience and would like to continue running and competing. I am a great all-around competitor and would like to compete in Decathlon.
At your convenience, I would like to speak with you about coming to your field.
Thank you for your consideration.
