Jayden Puna '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Jayden Puna.  I am 16 years old(5’10’’ and growing), and I am a Junior student athlete in High School. I currently play for the Houston Dynamo Academy in the MLS Next league. I’ve played for HTX soccer in MLS Next and ECNL league, and for high school I played for  Shadow Creek High School where I Started for Varsity team since Freshman year and I won best newcomer and was named to All-District first team.  As a Sophomore I was named District MVP, and again was named to All-District first team. I was also nominated for district Student Athlete of the year award. 

I have been playing soccer since I was  3 years old, and besides soccer, I have also competed in  many other sports including: Basketball, Football, and Track and Field. Although I did very well and excelled in those sports, my passion has always been  soccer. Thus far, my favorite positions to play include Center Back, Left Back, Attacking Mid and Winger. I am a versatile player and comfortable playing in most positions; and I am good playing with both feet. My coaches can always count on me, and I am excited to start my Junior year.
