Omar Galan '25 Recruiting Profile

Disciplined, hardworking, and competitive are three words that exemplify who I am on and off the field. 

Soccer is a team sport and I pride myself in being my very best every time I step on the field. Win or lose, each game provides opportunities for improvement and development of my skills.

I am strong and have a high soccer IQ, which enables me to be a change maker on the field. My speed and agility skills allow me to make quick decisions and be a disruptor of the game.

Juggling high school, AP classes, and my club team, have taught me time management and prioritizing. When I set goals, there is no stopping me.

My future aspirations include playing at the collegiate level for a competitive soccer organization, which I can add value to the team and continue to develop my skills. Additionally, I hope to pursue a degree in Biology.

In closing, I am not afraid of putting in the work and making the sacrifices, if it means I accomplish my goals. I have recently moved to Houston to live with a host family to play MLS Next. I feel this will give me an opportunity to compete with the best and help me fulfill my dreams!!
