I’m an uncommitted class of 2023 who is very interested in playing at the next level. I'm known for my athleticism, toughness, knowledge of the game ... and for my long throw-ins. (I can throw it in 40+ yards). My coach moved me to forward my junior year, but I am a versatile player and have regularly played as an attacking mid and also sweeper. I am right foot dominant but I also have a strong left and can play both sides of the field.
I've played soccer since I was 4. I started playing in Plano, then played in Katy and then in Bellville, Texas. For several years I played with the Bellville Red Storm Club team, but the team disbanded when we entered high school. I'm now on a Houston Dynamo Elite Team.
Until this past year, my high school didn’t have a soccer program that recorded games or encouraged us to play after graduating, so I don't have as many highlights as I'd like. I live in a small town outside of Houston, without a close club team, but I haven’t been sitting around between soccer high school seasons. My freshman and sophomore years, I played football, basketball, varsity soccer and baseball. Last year I quit basketball to focus on leading my soccer team, but still played three sports: varsity baseball, varsity soccer and varsity football. The Sealy Tiger school soccer team has made it to the playoffs every year I've been on the team, including making it to the semifinals of the Region III/IV bracket my sophomore season, the furthest in program history.
This summer I worked several jobs, attended Sealy’s summer athletic conditioning and attended several College ID camps: Panhandle State, University Of The Incarnate Word, Creighton University, University of Alabama - Birmingham, Denver University's Mile High Showcase, and Southwestern University's Texas Elite Soccer Combine. I also competed in the Texas Football 7 on 7 State Tournament where I played every down on defense. (This was Sealy's first state qualification since 2014 and we went three rounds before being knocked out.)
Academics are very important to me and I work hard to maintain As with a heavy course load. My goal is to finish at the top 10 of my class while still giving everything I have to my soccer teams.
I know I have a lot to learn. After years and years of playing youth, club and varsity soccer, I’ve figured out that I still have so much more to do on the soccer field. I need to increase my ball handling skills and need to work on my touch. But whether on the field, court or pitch, I am very proud of my work ethic, my drive and most of all my competitiveness to win. I guarantee you won’t find a more dedicated or loyal teammate.
