Hi my name is David Hooslyn,
My goal at 18 is to be accepted by an amazing college both in academics and athletics. Ever since I started playing soccer I have always dreamed of playing at a level that will push me to my full potential. I believe that I would be a great candidate for your program because not only am I hard worker but I will always learn from my mistakes. I would say I'm different from other athletes because of the way I lift others when they need the lift; I won't just stand around and let them fall. For me academics have always been pushed onto me because of my background. I have not always been the best at school but when I started to think ahead and realized that to be recruited into a top college I must have quality grades I began to use that work ethic i used for soccer and transferred that same energy into my school work and as you can see in my recent transcripts it has paid off. And last but not least I work to improve my soccer skills not only physically but mentally. I may not be as physically imposing as other athletes but I am adroit at learning my opponents weaknesses and using them against as soon as I see them. For these reasons I think you should consider me for your University, thank you for your time.
