My name is Josh Ortiz. I am a sophomore and am the starting varsity goalkeeper for St. Joseph Catholic Highschool. I am 5 foot 9 and weigh 145 pounds. I have been playing goalkeeper for 8 years. I have played competitive soccer since I was 10 and had a ball at my feet since I was 3. I also enjoy playing other sports. I have played high school basketball, golf, and been on the mountain biking team. I also enjoy snowboarding and skiing. I excel at hands on learning and want to pursue a career that is hands on. At this point in my high school education, I am leaning towards a degree in engineering. I have always enjoyed pushing boundaries and seeing how much further my athleticism can take me. I am excited to take this next step and play at the collegiate level.
