As of September 2014, I am playing for the U16 Real Salt Lake Academy team. I have played soccer competitively since the second grade, and it is my greatest love! Through soccer, I have learned self-discipline, teamwork, and the satisfaction of setting goals and progressing toward them. I have played on the Utah 98 ODP team for the past 4 years, and was chosen to play for the 1998 Region IV team, and was captain of this Region IV ODP team at Surf Cup in August 2013. My primary club soccer team is a Premier 1 team that is a year older than my age. I have played Defensive Center for this team for the past 5 years, and have been a team leader, serving as Team Captain for the past 3 years. I can also play defensive wing and holding midfield well, and enjoy these positions as well. I am very strong at 1v1 defending, keeping possession of the ball, and am a technically sound soccer player. I plan to continue to set goals to progress in soccer as well as excel academically. I am interested in studying physiology, as I am interested in pursuing a career in medicine or Physical Therapy. I am looking for a university that has a serious soccer team and also provides excellent academic opportunities.
