Griffin Benkovszky '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a high school senior, class of 2022, attending Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia.  I am a strong student with a solid GPA. I intend to pursue a path towards becoming an architect as I am very interested in the process of designing and planning buildings and landscapes. Throughout my life I have been involved in sports, with soccer always being my passion. At the high school level, I have been on the indoor track team, running 300m and 4x400 relay.  I play as a starter on our soccer team as a forward and have been on the varsity team since my freshman year. This past year I was a big part in helping my high school soccer team reach the post-season regional finals for the first time. I also play as a starting forward for the Richmond Kickers, U19 Elite under Coach Brett Teach. Coach has told me that some of my best attributes are my athletic abilities, my speed, and that I work hard. 

I am looking forward to becoming a member of a collegiate men's soccer team, where I can continue to put my athletic skills and passion for soccer to use for the success of the team while I pursue my academic goals.
