De'Angelo Gordon ...Personal Statement
My name is De’Angelo Gordon and my plan is to not only go to college but to play soccer while doing so. I plan to make it to any level of collegiate soccer and further my career there but more importantly education. I am a hard working player, I always give it one hundred and ten percent weather it’s practice or a game. Once I have my mind set on something I am bound to reach it and keep progressing.
On the field I am always determined, focused and hungry, I am a game changer in a lot of ways with my speed, height, strength and knowledge of the game. I always try to find ways to create goal scoring opportunity’s . I am a team player that just needs a chance I am always focused on helping the team succeed. When I step foot on the field I am very vocal and make sure I’m communicating with my teammates. As much effort I put into soccer I put the same into academics my mom has always told me ”no passing grades no soccer” that has stuck with me since I was 9 years old.
I never give up I have a special mentality a lot of players don’t if there’s something I don’t understand I’m going to make sure I get it before moving on. I am a great person on and off the field I am very nice and I make sure everyone around me is ok I am very joyful person and I love to have fun.
