Hello my name is Tai Bhalla and my goal is to play high level soccer in college. I am a very focused player who wants to improve everyday in all aspects of the game. Not only have I played on travel teams and high school soccer but I have played in international tournaments in countries such as Sweden (Gothia Cup), France, Morocco, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Longer term, besides playing soccer in college I hope to pursue a degree in Physical therapy - and believe my own passion for soccer and my career goals complement each other.
Over the last year I won the 2021 State cup with my high school varsity team (Meridian High School) in Virginia, and also was the 2021 State Championship runner up with my Arlington Soccer travel team (while being the highest scorer for my club team). 2022 Our high school team won the Smokey Mountain Cup, Gatlinburg, TN. Featured in Prepsoccer.com as top Class of 2023 performer. " A 6-foot-4 center mid was the best player on the field in each of the team’s three matches. He is a solid NCAA Division I prospect."
Having been fortunate to live around the world (because of my parents occupation), I have enjoyed playing with kids from so many countries - and seeing the common bonds that soccer creates playing in a diverse team.
I believe that it is important to keep a healthy body with good balanced diet and making sure my recovery is adequate. When not playing soccer I enjoy being outdoors (hiking), and playing guitar.
