Thomas Yablonski '21 Recruiting Profile

What started as a recreational sport has now become my driving force. Soccer has taught me leadership on and off the field, valuable teamwork skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. It has also provided me opportunities and friendships I feel very grateful for. Playing for my travel team has helped me recognize these skills, but my time on the ODP training program has given me the chance to enhance them. 

I have worked with various high school, travel, and clinic coaches who each had different styles. They've taught me a great deal about my game from various perspectives, each of them highlighting different aspects of my play. My travel coach relied on me to learn multiple positions of the field. Although difficult at first, learning how each position contributes to the game has helped me become the well-rounded team player I intend to bring to a college team. 

I am looking for a school that will help me develop into a better student and athlete.  I look forward to being apart of a great program.
