Soccer has been a huge part of my life and has helped to mold me into the person I am now. It has made me competitive, hard-working and a team player. I have been playing with the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club since I was 8 years old. My role varies on the team but I am usually attacking CM or striker if needed. We have had our struggles for years and have started to turn the corner with hard work. It forced us to be mentally tough and we worked hard to improve every year. I have been a core player for the team, a leader and am always a reliable player for my coach. He knows I will do my best every game.
I definitely want to continue playing soccer through college at a highly competitive level and at an academically rigorous institution. I have always been a strong student with a penchant for math and science. My parents are both physicians and I also have an interest in a business or STEM- related career. I am used to multitasking as I am involved in many activities at school in addition to the heavy soccer and academic load. In my experience as class president and school ambassador, I can get along with anyone and am extremely motivated in achieving whatever goals I set my mind on. I know I can continue to have success both an and off the field and am trying to find the right fit for me in the next phase of my life.
