My primary goal is to attend a college where I can excel both academically and on the soccer field.
I have played competitive soccer since I joined a travel soccer team midway through 5th grade, and during that time I have had a chance to play every position on the field, from forward to wing to defender to goalie. While my primary position is forward or outside mid, my coaches tend to also place me in positions across the field to provide additional support based on competitive strengths and weaknesses. My versatility makes me a strong asset to my coaches and my team. I also help coach the 2006, 2007, and 2008 boys travel soccer teams within my same club.
Off the field I demonstrate my leadership skills by head coaching 6th grade boys rec soccer and 6th grade boys basketball. I am also a Peer Leader. I enjoy working with and teaching children, and hope that I can foster a career whereby I can further my love of soccer by obtaining a Sports Management degree, and further my passion for teaching children by earning a Minor in Coaching.
