I am different from most other MLS Next level goalkeepers because I excel in every single aspect of the goalkeeping position. I've been told by international scouts at national tournaments that my superb ball handling and foot skills are incredibly rare for an American keeper. I consider my top strengths to be my mental toughness and lack of fear, ball stopping ability and distribution. My ability to distribute quickly and accurately gives my game great offensive potential as a keeper (I have assisted on goals before). Some of my other strengths are my high soccer I.Q., born leadership qualities, my superior throwing ability, my ultra-competitive nature and the fact that I'm a great communicator with an authoritative voice and presence. I successfully organize my defense to minimize the opponent's goal scoring opportunities.
Besides having played club baseball and basketball, I've been playing soccer and practicing goalkeeping skills since I was three. I love and thrive on pressure. I'm the youngest keeper to have ever signed an amateur contract with the Portland Timbers T2 and have rostered 10 times. I train three times a week with the 2nd men's pro team and occasionally with the 1st men's team. I also won best goalkeeper at the 2024 Bayern Munich Youth Cup with Bernd Dreher: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcafOICx_QI
A dual citizen of the U.S and Germany, I've been coached by my German-born dad all my life, who was a ranked Bavarian tennis player and who later played baseball in Germany's first league. I have always been near the top of my class and push myself academically by taking honors and AP coursework.
