Although I am humble and am always striving to improve (I'm a perfectionist by nature), I believe I excel among my peers in every single aspect of the goalkeeping position. Besides having played club baseball and basketball, I've been playing soccer and practicing goalkeeping skills since I was three. I love and thrive on the pressure. Some of my strengths as a goalkeeper are my mental toughness/composure, high soccer I.Q., born leadership qualities, lack of fear, excellent distribution and ball handling skills, equal footedness, superior throwing ability and ultra-competitive nature. I'm also a great communicator who possesses an authoritative voice and presence. I'm the youngest keeper to have ever signed an amateur contract with the Portland Timbers T2 and have rostered 8 times. A dual citizen of the U.S and Germany, I've been coached by my German-born dad all my life, who was a ranked Bavarian tennis player and who later played baseball in Germany's first league. I have always been near the top of my class and push myself academically by taking honors and AP coursework.
