Nathan Berg '21 Recruiting Profile

Hey,

I am Nathan Berg. I was born in Uganda Africa and was adopted when I was 7 years old. I started playing soccer on a club team when I was 7 years old. I've been playing ever since and really enjoy it. I've played soccer and am still currently playing at a super high level. I've played EPD/ODP State team and Crossfire Academy DA. I currently play for Eastside in the ECNL and have been selected to be on the Western Region ODP team traveling to the Inter-Regional Camp in Bradenton, Florida. Being an immigrant has really inspired me to work harder than others because when you come from nothing, you want everything. Outside of soccer life, I want to study business and become an entrepreneur. Currently, I own a company called  "DreamWear". I created it to inspire people to follow and chase their dreams. I just really want to inspire others and help them reach their full potential. As for soccer, I play striker or on any side of the wing. My speed and quick feet allow me to blow past defenders. I have good vision on the field and am a good ball distributor. When given the chance I put the ball in the back of the net, I also am a good defender because I like to press the offense when they have the ball. My mom has really inspired me to work hard in soccer and in life to achieve my dreams. She has sacrificed so much for me and continues to sacrifice her time and money to help me achieve my goals and dreams.
