Through soccer I have experienced lots of success and failure, much personal achievement and learned the value of setting goals. I’ve played soccer at many different levels and for a variety of teams. I have learned to lead, follow and work hard to contribute to a team. From an early age I learned to love the”beautiful game” playing among friends and family in our community.
I have a diverse skill set and am a positive and driven teammate. I am a very strong technical player but I understand the importance of combining quality technical ability with quality decision making. I have a strong work ethic and understand that technical skills and physical ability mean nothing without grit, drive and passion! I have set a goal to get great grades while playing high-level soccer so that I can earn admission to a school that can offer a phenomenal education as well as a high quality soccer program. I believe I would be a valuable asset to any team.
In addition to my club experience and academics I am proud of the following accomplishments.
Spring 2022 Rush West Regional Team B05; PDT Tournament Champions Elite Division.
Summer 2021 Copenhagen, Denmark Capelli Sport Cup hosted by HB Koge. I played for Aiolikos FC, Greece.
Summer 2021 Rush National Team, Greece
Fall 2019, Mayor’s Cup. Rush Select Regional Team.
2016 WA Elite Player Development.
Thank you for your time and consideration
Sincerely,
Emmett Layman
