Jose Alonso '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jose Alonso and I am a Junior at Northwest technical high school, a college prepatory school, in Lakewood, WA. I am looking for a college that has both an academically and athletically excellent program. 

I play Attacking center midfield and I play winger, but I can easily adapt to any positon on the field because many coaches who have seen me play always say how I can read the game very well. I start as a center midfielder for my highschool and I start either center attacking mid or right wing for my club team, Fury 03 Black. Ive been playing select soccer since 11 years old, The team I played before my current team (Fury) was called NorTac Sparta Select I played premier soccer on that team for 4 years. That sort of competition is what helps me to become a better player because both teams worked very hard to make sure that we were prepared for the next opponent we played play.

Through out my Sparta team experience we’ve been to state cup 4 years in a row, but ended getting second place twice due to very poor refereeing. With Fury we went to quarter finals and got third place

Although I am only 5' 11'' I am good at winning balls in the air and I go into tackles strong. A key aspect of my game is speed and stamina, I am very fast and I love running down the wing with the ball and crossing balls in to the box. I ran a 5:42 mile time in 9th grade and I hope to record more mile runs 

I am looking for a very challening school both academically and athletically. I get along with everyone and I want to keep all my teammates motivated and in a good mood while on the field.                        Thanks for viewing my profile.
