Gavin Vanden Berg '22 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer my entire life and one thing that I've learned from it is once you find something that you love, don't ever give up on it. That is a huge factor in who I am as a person.  I love to try new things in pursuit of happiness and then continuing to do them brings me great happiness, a sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction.  I am a very active person; I ski, boulder, kayak, hike, fish, hunt and go jet skiing and boating with friends and family.  I am hoping to get recruited onto a college soccer team so I can continue my love for the game of soccer after high school.   In addition, my years of playing sports and love for the game has helped me choose the field I would like to study in college which is medicine, specifically sports medicine.
