"The harder you work the harder it is to surrender."
-Vince Lombardi
These are words that I live by. Everyday I work to be the best that I can be as an athlete and as a students. I work hard for my success and my team's success.
I know what my responsibilities are. I know that whatever I do or say on that field can effect my teammates and how they play. To be a team you have to work and play smart soccer and teams that argue or are not disciplined fall apart. I work hard for my coach because I know that any coach will want 100% from any of his players on and off the field and thats why I practice. In my 11 years of soccer I have learned two things. You must persevere in order to be good at something. And in order to win you have to be mentally ready and alert.
Again I have played since I was 5 years old so my skills and knowledge of the game is solid. I know that hard work and smart soccer makes you win games. Thats why experience and practice is key.
Academically I am solid also because I have had a 4.0 GPA ever year in high school so far. My goals academically are that I want to accomplish something that will help people in the long run. I want to study something in the medical field because I have lots of relatives that are in that field. Academically I want to do the best that I can and I understand how important academics means to be in a college program.
For Soccer I want to be the best that I can be. I want to reach the highest level destiny will let me reach. If i ever get recruited I want to remember my experience and say "I did everything I could back then to be the best." We only have one life and I don't want be sitting somewhere at age 60 or 70 and regretting my soccer experience. Regret is a sickness it can bring you down and keep you from doing certain things.
Overall, I am a very out going and respectful person. My dad is in the military so I am all about respect. I am responsible and will do about anything a coach or teammate wants me to do to make the team or the program better.
Thank You so much for listening to my goals and character and hopefully I fit in to your program.
