I’ve been playing soccer since I was 3. My passion and drive is to play in college, possibly represent my country on the US team and become a professional when done with college. I was born with hearing loss and I have hearing aids. I want to be an advocate for people that feel they can’t do something because of what they have or what people have said to them.
I am very competitive in everything and I can learn quickly. One thing that I stand by is to be teachable and coachable. I am the player on your team that will be a leader and will care for the team. I will hold my teammates accountable and I always have respect for my coaches. I will outwork every teammate and player on the field with heart and stamina from conditioning.
My playing ability has developed tremendously over my lifetime and I find myself to be a focused player with quick thinking. I can dance with the ball and I can find those passing lanes that seem impossible. I love the free flowing play of a team that is family to each other. I can adapt to new players and I can fit well with multiple play styles.
I made varsity as an 8th grader and I made 1st team all-conference for midfield the same year. I repeated that as a Freshman and Sophomore; and added team captain to my acknowledgements. We turned the team around three seasons ago and went 4-4 in the last covid year. The following year we improved to 10-5-1. And this past 2023 season we finished 14-5 and got knocked out in round 2 of state tournament. We are #8 ranked in state at this point. I was blessed to be selected as 2023 Conference Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the 2023 All-Region SW WA team of 11 (includes all divisions of HS). I plan to lead our team to a state championship in 2024.
My family means a lot to me. I have two amazing parents and two sisters that support my soccer passion. I also have a relationship with God which is my best decision, I believe. I and passionate about giving Jesus credit for all I do on and off the field.
I strive to perform my best and I am determined to play soccer for as long as I can. My parents have always told me grades come before sports. I work very hard to get all A’s and I’ve kept those standards. Current weighted gpa is 4.37. I hold myself to a very high standard in schooling and plan to achieve it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this statement about me.
