Ian McManamay '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ian McManamay. I have played soccer since I was three years old. I love the game.  Growing up in Southern West Virginia, where training opportunities and facilities are limited, I have had to travel to other parts of the state to participate.  I often traveled far to practice with my club team and ODP. With the support of my family, I have been able to take advantage of all opportunities possible. 

I enjoy participating in sports such as snowboarding, and wake boarding. These extracurricular activities have made me a better player because I have improved my balance and strength. 

I feel one of my greatest attributes is my strive for excellence. I have held a 4.0 GPA since grade school, and plan to maintain that until graduation. My goal is to obtain a great college education. To be able to play soccer in college would be an incredible opportunity. I am excited about what the future holds.
