I’m here to succeed. I’ve wanted to play college soccer all my life. I’m passionate, willing, and interested in soccer. I love it. When someone gives me advice, I take it and learn from it. And try to grow. I’m here to grow, and to win. I’ve always wanted to win. It feels great. I am serious about what I want to do. I have so much love for the game. And everything it entitles, the emotion, the shear joy of running up and down a field at full speed and putting the ball in the back of the net, provides an indescribable feeling. I want to get better. Every game, I go 110%. If I don’t I feel as if I’m not being used to my full potential and I’ve let my team down.
My Freshman year, I played for Eau Claire United, and we were beating everyone, we had a perfect season, and went on to win the State Championship of Minnesota. It was unreal, the atmosphere was amazing. It was super fun, and I learned the value of possession, and passing and conditioning. Our team was made up of 13 players, leaving just 2 subs. It was tough, but we all wanted it bad enough and we got the results we wanted at the end of our season.
Every year, I grow as a player. I feel like I get a little faster, a little better with my tactical skills, and passing.
Every game provides learning opportunities, and chances. But it’s what you take from those chances, that helps you grow as a player.
I’m an extremely competitive person., not just on the field but in the classroom, if I don’t do as good as I feel I should have on a test, I think about how I could have done better. I also think about what I could’ve done better on the field. I’m also willing to learn, and take pointers from other people. And I will do whatever it takes to become the best player on that field, every single game.
