Madden Skurka '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madden Skurka , class of 2024 and I’m a 5’11”  160lb Jr. center and outside defensive back for DePere High School in DePere Wi.  I will be a 3rd year varsity player when the season begins this August.  Last year as a varsity starter we took 4th in state and I was only on the field for a record setting year for goals allowed for my team.   I was also strategically personally matched-up with the opposing teams best forward (either side) to help eliminate or minimize the others teams best goal scoring threat.  Feel free to contact my school and coach at your convenience.  My High School coach Martin Venezula (920-903-2612, [email protected])  I play club soccer for former college coach Wyste Molenaar (920-737-3600 ,[email protected]) and play with the 2006/2005/2004 state premier and YNL teams.  

    like to challenge my self academically and finished my Sophomore year with a 2.97 GPA.  I’ve always enjoyed school and preferred to take advanced classes to push myself in the classroom rather then avoid tougher classes.  English has always been a strong point in school and would like to pursue writing/digital content and journalism in the future.  Other then soccer I enjoy having a part-time job and working and volunteering with younger players during the Spring/Summer and Winter as a Coach and instructor during community camps and rec leagues.
