Coming in second place in my conference sophomore year after not winning a conference game the year before was the highlight of my high school soccer career so far. However, loosing all those conference games freshman year really helped me grow as a leader in the goal. That experience I knew I would never want to happen again, causing me to become a better team leader and try to lead my efforts to win my team games, and make me capable to become a successful college athlete.
Although my high school career was off to a rough start, I am happy to say I am apart of a fairly successful club team. Traveling to big tournaments in places such as Phoenix, AZ, Washington D.C., and Memphis, TN, in the past 2 years. From these experiences I have learned many skills and life lessons in goal. Just a few of these skills and life lessons learned include sacrifice, communication, teamwork, and being a leader in many different situations. I am looking for a program that will be a great fit for me academically where I can go and finish my degree, and also a program that will be very competitive. I have the confidence that I can not only compete at the college level, but great personality, and work-ethic to succeed at the college level. As a soccer player for 12 years and 2 year varsity goalkeeper, I can be the next leader for your team!
