My name is Brady Vance. I attend Germantown High School in Germantown, Wisconsin in the Class of 2023. For the last two seasons I have been a starter on Varsity at Center Back. At our soccer banquet this year, I was awarded the Hawk Eye Award for my performance and my work in the community. We play in the Greater Metro Conference, arguably the best high school conference in the State of Wisconsin. I am looking to go to college to study Physical Education or Exercise Physiology. I currently work for the Germantown Park and Recreation Department in various capacities.
I have been playing soccer since I was three years old and have played every year since. I have been a starter on my Club team for the last five years and hardly ever leave the field. I was a starter and a Captain for our JV2 team as a freshman and was the MVP of that team. As a Sophomore, I was a starter on the JV team and never left the field for our last six games in which we were undefeated.
In the Spring of 2022, I was fortunate enough to play on two U19 SC Wave Club teams in the club season where I have started each game at Center Back for both teams.
In the WYSA Boys Southeast Classic League U18/U19 Blue, my SC Wave Germantown Elite 2003 Boys White team finished in 1st Place with a 7-0 record, with 4 goals allowed on the season.
In the WYSA Boys Southeast Classic League U18/U19 Red, my SC Wave Germantown Elite 2003 Boys Black team finished in 3rd Place with a 3-1-3 record with 7 goals allowed on the season. I was also on a U19 team that won 1st Place at the Froedert Invitational Tournament (U19 division, 4-0, 2 goals allowed).
I was also eligible to play with a Germantown team in the U17 Division of the Rick Kilps Classic and was a starting Center Back on that Tournament Champion team ,(U17 division, 3-0, 0 goals allowed).
I love to play soccer and have enjoyed playing at the Rec, Select, and now High School levels. Last Fall, I began assistant coaching with a U8 team of young players and am enjoyed that experience also.
I am interested in playing college soccer because I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity to get a quality education while competing at a high level in the sport I love. This would let me challenge myself to be better at both academics and athletics at the next level.
I believe I would be a good candidate to play college soccer because of my ability to overcome obstacles and to bring a high character to the program. I was taught good character and sportsmanship while playing various youth sports and studying and playing at St. Boniface Catholic School here in Germantown and at Germantown High School.
