Winning First Team All-Conference has been the best and happiest moment of my high school soccer career so far. I came really close to winning it my sophomore year and knowing that, it lead me to work even harder because I knew I could achieve it by next year and I did. Playing high school soccer is something else and I’ve been growing and improving my game since my freshman year. I was a Varsity starter my freshman year and played the whole season as a starter. It was hard but I quickly adapted and was becoming more involved through each game that went by. Since then it has lead me to become a solid piece in our high school team where new goals and desires come up each season. I believe that with the knowledge I have and the dedication and effort I am willing to do everything that is possible to be capable of playing at the college level.
I am really grateful to be apart of the program I am in and it only keeps on getting better each and every year. I’m happy to say that I’ve been part of two squads that broke our school’s record as well as finishing in the top three of our conference. I learned that being an individual player doesn’t do much. So I learned how to play for the team which is what it’s all about. Being a team player takes a lot of commitment, sacrifice, and perseverance and I do everything in my ability to do so. I’m looking for a program that will be an excellent fit for me athletically and academically because it is just as important as athletics. I believe I have the talent to succeed as well as a high work-ethic, a great character, and maturity to keep on growing as person and a player on and off the field.
