Hi coaches, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
My name is Hayden Clem, and I am a 6’2” 195 lb Senior (Class of 2024). I have been playing soccer for about 14 years. I currently play club soccer for the Madison 56ers in Madison, Wisconsin, and I have played three years on the Varsity team at Robert M. La Follette High School. I am a starting player consistently playing full game minutes for both teams. I also recently was part of the US Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) on the State of Wisconsin team.
I am motivated to make myself, and ultimately the teams I play for, better by putting in individual training time in addition to team training sessions. In between soccer team practices or games, I do strength and athletic training and use drills to refine my skills.
I am currently a licensed USSF referee and have been officiating games for the past four years. During a typical season, I referee 15-20 competitive youth games. My experience as a referee allows me to give back to the game by supporting the younger players in my community while gaining a better perspective of the important and challenging role of the referee.
As far as academics, I have a 3.84 cumulative GPA and am in multiple AP and Honors courses. Since Kindergarten I have been enrolled in a Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program. This unique academic experience has granted me the privilege of becoming bilingual (biliteracy through reading, writing, listening and speaking). I am on track to receive The Seal of Biliteracy on my diploma when I graduate high school.

- All games were played on grass with temperatures ranging between 54 to 75 and no rain or snow during tournament. Team won bracket and proceeded to semi-finals. During the semi-final game the regulation time ended in a tie and went to overtime, game was still tied after overtime and went to shootout. Team lost in shootout...I had one goal during regulation time of semi-final and also made a goal from the penalty mark during the shootout.

My team ended up 2nd in the bracket ("Finalist").
