Personal Statement

Dear Coaches, this fall, i played for Marshalltown Community College. It is a 2 year school in Marshalltown, Iowa. It took me a little while to get used to the change in the speed of the game but i adjusted just fine. I started the first 2 games on the bench, which were 2 games i scored in and then i started the rest of the year. I ended up being the leading scorer of my team with 8 goals, and 3 assists. i was selected for 2nd team all region as a freshmen. I was very happy with how our team ended the year from not being ranked to ending up being ranked 10th in the nation. Our team made it to the national tournament down in Albany, Georgia. We lost our first game to the team that ended up winning the national title, Tyler, TX. We won our second game againsts Jefferson College 2-0 but that still wasn't enough for us to qualify to the final 4. it was a very successfull year for me and i am very proud of myself.
