2013 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Erik Hansen. I am in the class of 2016, I am 5'9", 165 pounds. Soccer is my life. I began playing soccer in the first grade, and have loved it ever since. I met all of my best friends through soccer, and our bond has strengthened being teammates. Being a goalkeeper has always been my favorite, I love the responsibility and leadership it requires. It has taught me how to take responsibility for myself and try my best otherwise it affects all those that depend on me. My grades are very important to me. I take pride in my grades and am projected to be within the top 3 of my class. I have been involved in premier club soccer since the sixth grade. I have played with Madison FC, Oregon SC, and the Madison 56’ers. I am now currently playing for FC Wisconsin Academy in the USSDA. I have also been involved with ODP Wisconsin, and played for the 1998's state team. Playing in college has always been a dream of mine, and I have been working hard to make this dream come true. I would love to work hard for any college that would like to have me study at their school.
