I was born in the UK and moved to Australia when I was three years old. At age four I began competitive swimming in Australia, and I have loved the sport ever since. In 2007 we moved to London, Ontario and then to Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2010 we finally moved to Calgary where I've since been swimming with the Cascade Swim Club. As I have moved around a lot, I feel that I can adapt easily to different training environments and techniques. I've always been excited about swimming, and believe that I am a hard worker and do not step away from a challenge both academically and in swimming. I've been told that I am a natural leader and love to cheer on my teammates and see them succeed. At the collegiate level, I aspire to succeed in both academics and swimming. It would be my dream to swim at the collegiate level and take my swimming to the next level.
