In my freshman year, my highlight was winning the 100 backstroke at the Big VIII League championship. One experience that I grew upon in my lifetime was when I switched swim teams. I realized who my true friends were and this helped me build a group of close friends. At first the change was difficult, my new team didn't accept me at first, and I had those true friends to help guide me.
Thankfully, my old friends and my new friends helped me get through everything. They pushed me to be the best that I can be and I pushed them at the same time. I am usually known to motivate swimmers based off their struggles. I have a good relationship with my coaches, and old coaches as well. Through all my struggles I have learned how it is to be a leader, great teammate, and have a good dedication to what I am doing; and this is what I would use to make huge step in your program.
