Personal Statement
I have been passionate about swimming since I was a little boy. Being in the water makes me feel free and uninhibited. I began competing in 8th grade and that added additional excitement; the feeling of achievement and of course the win! Now that I am thinking about what the next few years look like, I am excited to incorporate my passion for this sport with my pursuit of academics. I see myself continuing to excel in swimming and hopefully being able to reach my academic goals with the discipline it takes to become a D1 swimmer. I know that with my drive and determination, I would be an excellent addition to any college's swim team, and I am looking forward to exploring the place that is the best fit for me.
