I started this journey through sports - later than most, from what it seems. Joining the swim team my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions of my life so far. I play water polo and on the swim team, and while many of my teammates from water polo swim as a form of off-season training, I see it as quite the opposite. When I came into my third year of high school, I really started to notice how training year round on the swim team has helped me and my teammates improve and get faster every year. I now understand how this kind of commitment can take you to a whole other level not just in sports but in life, and I am looking forward to the future and finding a college where I can continue to thrive both athletically and academically.
