I'm looking for a college environment that will allow me to reach my full potential as a swimmer. I also want to be able to pursue my academic endeavors in Pre-Med to achieve my end goal of becoming a surgeon. I am a senior in high school who swims year-round with San Dimas Aquatics (San Dimas, CA) in the Senior Group, the team's highest training group. I also swim for my high school varsity team and have been the best distance swimmer on the team since a freshman. I have loved swim since I began when I was eight, and have always pushed myself over the past eight years to improve my technique and speed. I've always had to push myself hard because I am young for my grade and swim group. I started swimming Saturday practices with the senior group when I was ten even though my team usually requires swimmers to at least be thirteen years old. I've also always been top of my class and have even been a leader in my swimming group. I've had several coaches over the years and I have learned important things from each and every one of them. Now I'm eager to swim at the next level in college and learn even more things from future coaches.
