I am a driven and curious member of the Class of 2025, deeply passionate about urban
development and its intersection with environmental conservation. My fascination with
sustainable planning stems from early experiences in environmental advocacy, combined with
formative travels across West Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and North America. These
journeys have enriched my understanding of how diverse cultures and ecosystems navigate
growth, equity, and sustainability, shaping my vision for innovative urban spaces.
Beyond academics, I am also a dedicated athlete, swimming with the TAC Titans Swim Club
as part of the Olympic Elite squad. Competing at national and international levels has instilled
in me a relentless work ethic, resilience, and an appreciation for discipline—qualities that have
shaped my character both in and out of the pool. I hope to continue swimming at the collegiate
level, further integrating my passion for personal excellence with a commitment to teamwork.
I aspire to become a Land Resilience and Restoration Strategist, addressing the urgent need for
cities that harmonize development with ecological stewardship and social inclusivity. I am
particularly drawn to exploring solutions that empower communities while mitigating
environmental challenges, from climate adaptation to resource equity. Following a master’s
degree, I plan to pursue law school to develop the expertise needed to lead transformative urban
projects and advocate for resilient policies. My goal is to help design cities that honour the
delicate balance between human progress and environmental preservation, ensuring a
sustainable legacy for future generations.
