I want to swim at my highest level possible and hopefully compete at a college level. I love swimming, and I love the competitiveness and fun that comes with the sport.
Swimming cannot just work alone to be in a college level. Before swimming come academics. I like to challenge myself with whatever I do whether it be school or swim. Last year i was able to maintain a cumulative gpa of 4.58. I was also able to be apart of the national honors society which has many volunteer opportunities for us to take part in. This year I will be taking three AP courses and one honors class. along with being apart of the national honors society.
This summer I was able to take my swimming skills and help others by being a beach lifeguard in my home town of Oceanside. I was quickly able to prove myself as a role model to others and won rookie of the year. So swimming has given me amazing opportunities in life, and I hope I can continue to use swimming to compete at a collegiate level.
