Ever since I can remember I've been one of those kids who have always been in the water. I started off just with a summer swim team at five and loved it. I did that for a couple of years and it was great. At the age of eight, my parents told me that we were moving to Delaware. I think that move had the biggest impact on my swimming career. We were in Delaware and my third day there my dad and I drove past a YMCA. I asked him if we can stop there and see if they had a swim team. So we went to check and turns out they did. It was the one thing that I looked forward to everyday as someone who was new to the area just trying to find something they were passionate about. I was only eight and some of these things didn't make sense to me. But now that I'm growing up I've realize that swimming has impacted me in a huge way. I have been swimming year round since at the USA level with a dream to swim in college. My goal is to better myself every day wether it's about school, sports, or just my overall character. I've been very lucky to have some great role models during my time and I hope I can be that towards others. To me, a team is a family and I really want to swim at a high level and have a family to experience it with.
