2021 Highlights Personal Statement
I started swimming competitively when I was 6 years old. I find that being in the water calms me and makes me feel like myself no matter what kind of day I’m having. Being part of amazing teams, going to practice, and racing are what makes my swimming experience so enjoyable to me. Over the past decade of my life, swimming has taught me many useful habits in life such as time management, discipline, and to push myself to the limits. As a result, I strive to excel in all aspects of my life and to reach my full potential.
