Since I was ten years old, putting on my cap and goggles for the first time, I have been dreaming of going to the Olympics. Long practices, hours of studying, and many sacrifices have led me to where I am and have become the cornerstones of my future.
One thing I like about swimming is that it is both an individual and team sport. Knowing no one succeeds alone, I have worked to become a strong relay swimmer while providing encouragement and leadership to my teammates, in the pool and at meets. Our environment and the people we associate with play a tremendous role in the intended outcome of our dreams. My future college is no exception.
Even though my work ethic can be matched to any competitive swimmer, I am also committed to having an impeccable character and maintaining rigorous academic standards.
