Wes Martin '23 Recruiting Profile

I have only been competitive swimming for two years and have a strong desire to swim at the next level.  I do not have a short course pool or long course pool in my hometown of Dublin, Ga.  I drive myself two hours a day,  5 days a week to practice in Macon, Ga.  I have maintained a 4.0 College GPA while taking dual enrollment college classes while in high school.  My height is 6’3” and my arm span is 6’8”.   I know if I lived close to a pool and could train twice a day I could improve greatly and be a strong contributor to a team.   I’ve managed school, swimming, weight lifting and conditioning daily to reach my goals in a short period of time.  I will continue to work hard this year and show progression in my times.
